Mango Shreekhand

Mango Shreekhand is a curd based sweet dish and a very refreshing and delicious dessert made by mango. The taste of yogurt and Mango is a definite mood enhancer and taste heavenly in the summers.

Ingredients

  • 250g Curd
  • 8 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar
  • 3/4 Tablespoon Powdered Cardamom
  • For Garnishing Almonds
  • 1/2 Kg Ripe Mango

Preparation

Tie the curd in the muslin cloth and hang it for 5-6 hours so that the water in the curd drains out.

Cooking

  1. Take 4 tablespoons of hung curd in a bowl.
  2. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder in it and mix well.
  3. Keep adding small quantities of the mango puree and keep folding it into the curd so that all the puree gets mixed well in the curd.

Serving

  1. Add mango pieces and almond pieces to garnish.
  2. Keep in the fridge for minimum 1/2 hour. Serve chilled.
